Commonwealth countries are late at the start at least 2 years. Yes, not much is lost. Not yet.
That ‘not much’ amplifies throughout the years.
On top of it, the proper practice routine is never created. The outcome after few years: the final reach of the student is cut short; the ceiling is set lower.
Not that student is unable, she/he/they will be unwilling.
It now requires significant effort for meaningful outcome.
